How I love this holiday, crazy-making though it can sometimes be. 🙂
I’ve been in low gear all week–tired from the whirlwind trip to Vegas–but I’m sure glad I got to go. Equally glad to be back home, of course. I’m something of a homebody, much as I love to travel.
It remains to be seen whether or not we’ll have a white Christmas here in Eastern Washington State–right now, it’s raining and there’s a good thaw underway, though we still have some snow on the ground.
Friends, your comments mean so much to me. You say such kind things, things that warm my heart. Thank you for that, and thank you for riding the same trail. It’s an honor to keep company with you, even if it IS all virtual. I think it’s wonderful that we can communicate through blogs, online chats, e-mail and the like. Such a blessing!
I will definitely be blogging again on Monday, but let me just jump the gun a little here and wish you the merriest and most blessed Christmas ever, and the healthiest, most prosperous New Year. I’m looking forward to 2013, and I hope you are, too.
Assuming, of course, that the world doesn’t end today. 🙂 I love my daughter’s take on the Mayan Calendar question: “These are people who threw their children down wells as a way of praying for water–and we’re supposed to think they’ve got inside info on the End of Time?” Amen, kiddo.
Have a good weekend and be sure to take the time to stop, put up your feet, and count your blessings. Heck, the way time passes, it will be Christmas AGAIN before we know it!
May God keep you and yours in the palm of His hand, now and always.
