Another great day, another great WEEK! I’ve got some polishing to do in the morning, but I’ve met my writing quota again this week, and that’s a miracle. Literally.
Weekend plans are exciting indeed–tomorrow, Wendy, Jenni, Mary Ann and I will all be in the audience to hear Sylvia Brown, the famous psychic. I love Sylvia’s down-to-earth way–the last time we saw her, somebody asked her about the projected end of the world, as predicted by the Mayans (supposedly) for December 21, 2012. What was going to happen??? the questioner asked, breathless. “Nothing,” Sylvia replied dryly. “The Mayans ran out of ink.” I love it. Do I believe everything she says? No way. Do I find her entertaining? You’d better believe it. She’s a hoot.
Wendy and I will attend “Jersey Boys” on Saturday night–you cannot imagine how long I’ve wanted to see this musical. It’s based on the Frankie Valle and the Four Seasons and, I’ve got to tell you, I LOVE their music. Big Girls Don’t Cry? Depends on the situation. 🙂 THIS big girl has cried plenty, and isn’t ashamed to admit it. 🙂
I still haven’t seen Jim and Alisa and Laci, but I know they’re busy. They came to see my beloved KayLael Paparich, who is actually my cousin but has always been like an aunt. Her daughter, Stevie, and I were as close as sisters–Stevie left us too soon and believe me, when I get to heaven, I plan to confront her for leaving when she did! (I just heard from Alisa while I was writing this blog–they’ll be here Sunday! YEEHAW!)
Congrats to the winners and, the rest of you, hang in there. Your turn is coming!
